Most of the FAKE, REPRO items I see on the Civil War auctions here are being sold by the same group of dealers. Seems they have a never ending supply of original Stenciled Battle Scared flags that, if you gepare them against each other,all have identicaland or similarcharacteristics, same lettering , same dye color used to do the stencil, similar patterns of battle damage, buckles that all look the same, constantly finding identicalOld Westperiod polker cards signed by Sitting Bull, Annie Oakley, Wild Bill Hickcock, etc., buthey, they can't tell if they are real, they leave that to you after they fleese you.I found the site where they probably buy these fake signed polker cards, you can buy them all day long cheap with, again, a never ending supply...
Beware of people who say...Ignore Those That Warn You Away from Bogus Items, They have an Agenda, they want to buy it all, they want to misguide you so you will buy their stuff instead of the garbage some dealers push... This rational is a load of, politely, POOP. Do your research, If it looks to good to be true IT IS...If it looks Fake, IT IS...If the reason sounds Phoney, IT IS...If it looks Made Up IT IS...Watch those sellers taht always have these same type of items, too...They will leave you hanging.
