Hello fans of blue forest Wyoming petrified wood! I went up on Sunday, Jan. 28 and dug my first wood in three years. I was surprized to be able to dig, and was surprized at all the new digging in the recent past. I also confirmed the existance of lots of staking for more roads and oil field pipe line trenching. The best bet is to visit in the early summer, or to get your specimens at good okay prices.
