Why are international edition textbooks priced lower than US edition textbooks and what are the differences between an international edition textbook and a US edition textbook?Publishers make two different versions of textbooks because Americans are willing to pay the price for a hardcover book whereas in other countries the demand for the hardcover books is not high enough so they publish the same books in a softcover version with the exact same content.
