maintenance on your nes console and nes games.

Hi! yes i am a Grand maman, playing Nintendo and doing the upkeep on them.
I will sale Nintendo games and consoles, when they leave my house they will be cleaned. The first thing to remember is:" you go to the games store you buy or rent a game, never gee home and put it in your console with out cleaning it. your old console is High Tech from 1979 on... if you do not clean the game, you have to push it in the console and go back and forth with it so the console can read it. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" exactly what you would of done with a q-tip and alcohol, you are washing out the dust and code of the other console it was in before you used it on yours. What you do not know is that, you are rubbing of the dust of one another . after a while the console will not be able to read.
What to do every time you bye or rent a nes game.
1 - take a q-tip and alcohol
2 - put some alcohol in a small container
3 - put some alcohol on the q-tip
4 - Go round (clock wise) in to the game watch so no debris stay stuck between the teeth of the games.
5 - Put the game in the console and then push the start button on the console. and start playing. if it does not start, then push the game back and forth in the console, leave the console on, it should start.
if your console as not been cleaned for a long time take the vacuum cleaner, with a plastic tip, put it down in the "slot where you usually put your game" and start the vacuum to take the dust out of the machine. Dust is the main reason why a console will break. if the upkeep is done on it once and awhile it will last for a very long time.
Hours of fun, with these old console, it need a bit of attention once and a while.
Well, Keep Cool. chow for now
HAVE FUN IT IS IMPORTENT IN LIFE.
THIS IS A SNES NIN. IT NEEDS THE SAME ATTENTION
