I assumed these were some type of quartz but my auntie says these are jade beads. They are a lighter color than what I would expect for jade but they have speckles in some beads. Whatever they are- they are gorgeous, knotted between each and the clasp appears to be sterling, although its not marked. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ hossy
