Ring is marked 10KGF. Stone is very clear - if you look into it from exactly the right angle there are some dark specks that appear to be in the stone and not on the bottom (though they could be reflections from the fleabites on one edge too). The setting looks like the kind that's used for real stones - but the stone is so clear I'm just not sure about it. I know you can't positively ID stones from a pic - and I am not going to spend time and probably money taking this piece of came-in-a-lot to a jeweler.
